Helping Verbs 

Helping verbs may also be referred to as "auxiliary verbs".

Helping verbs do not have which means upon their own. They are necessary for your grammatical structure of your sentence, however they will don't tell us quite definitely alone. We sometimes use serving to verbs along together using main verbs. They "help" the most verb (that has got the real which means). There are no more than regarding 15 serving to verbs in English, so we divide them into 2 basic teams :
Primary serving to verbs (3 verbs)


These will be the verbs be, do, and possess. Note that we both could use these 3 verbs as serving to verbs or with main verbs. On this page we point out them as serving to verbs. We use them inside the following cases :

be
in order to make continuous tenses (He is watching TV.)
in order to make the passive (Small fish are eaten by huge fish.)


have
in order to make excellent tenses (I have finished my homework.)


do
in order to make negatives (I don't like you.)
need to queries (Do you wish a few occasional?)
to demonstrate emphasis (I do need one to pass your exam.)
to stand for the main verb in a few constructions (He speaks faster than she will.)

Modal serving to verbs (10 verbs)

We use modal serving to verbs to "modify" the which means in the main verb indirectly. A modal serving to verb expresses necessity or possibility, and changes the most verb as sense. These will be the modal verbs :

can easily, could
could, might
can, would,
shall, should
must
ought to

Here are examples using modal verbs :

I can't speak Chinese.
John could arrive late.
Would you as a cup of occasional?
You ought to see a doctor.
I very should go currently.
